A Signature Program
Farm to Market Grant.
Financial support to local farms and ranches, paying down the labor costs that make it possible to grow food and still show up at the market every Saturday.
Running a small farm is expensive. Staffing a booth at the market every Saturday adds even more to the cost.
The Jackson Hole Farmers Market Grant is designed to provide financial support to local farmers by funding the labor costs essential for their participation in our markets, while ensuring the continued care of their farms back home.
The goal is simple: alleviate the staffing and operational burden on small-scale farmers, so they can focus on both growing their produce and meeting customers face-to-face at the Town Square. By covering labor expenses, we strengthen local food systems, encourage sustainable farming practices, and help keep our agricultural community viable for the long term.

The Farm to Market Program has helped us retain workers. Because of this program we have been able to create consistent help for our farm helper on Saturday mornings when we are at the farmers market ourselves. Having the same person doing this for several years now has given us incredible peace of mind.
We have put 100% of the program funds towards paying our employees a living wage. One of our goals is to create meaningful jobs for people living and working in the Tetons. The program has helped us achieve this goal. Thank you for considering our application every year. We are grateful.
